Speed + Security. No matter what your operating environment, we have the technology to transfer your data securely, quickly, and reliably. Digital Recorders, Inc. provides an industry-standard 802.11x (WiFi) system with security enhancements. Your data and network is safe with TKIP encryption, EAP authentication, and MIC tampering detection. Transmission speeds up to 54Mbps ensure that all of your secure data gets delivered quickly.

Transfer data while you sleep. Updating your fleet just got much easier. With Wireless Update you no longer need to physically visit each and every vehicle to add new announcements or retrieve collected AVM data. The once time-consuming task of updating route information is reduced to a simple "set and forget" procedure: identify the updates you wish to send to the vehicles, start the update, and walk away. Strategically placed access points in your garage or parking area provides coverage for all vehicles.

Date-specific deployment. Want to have your entire fleet roll over to a new set of announcement and sign data simultaneously? No problem! Our wireless server software makes it easy to specify a future time and date for an update to become active. Vehicles begin immediately downloading the changes, but don't begin using the new data until the specified date.

View your fleet in a glance. One window displays your entire fleet of wireless-enabled vehicles, and lists the download and upload status of each. Sort your list by last upload date to see which vehicles have haven't yet returned to the garage, or look at the download column to see each vehicle's "percent complete" and software revision level information.

Incremental Updates. The updated architecture of our new DR600® VLU enables wireless updates to the on-vehicle data to be incremental, transmitting only the recordings, sign text, route changes, etc. that have changed. This significantly speeds the transfer process and gets your fleet updated even faster!
