Maintenance (AVM) ![]() With Digital Recorders, Inc.'s AVM system you'll be aware of the health of your fleet at a glance and be automatically notified when problems arise. Digital Recorders, Inc.'s Automated Vehicle Maintenance option:
Data collection. Digital Recorders, Inc.'s AVM system successfully logs data from electronic control systems, multiplex systems, Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) systems, discrete signals, covert alarms, and more. Data can be collected from any device with a standard protocol interface (J1708/1587, RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, etc.). Digital Recorders, Inc.'s AVM option works with both our popular DR500C product and our new flagship DR600 VLU. Now all your on-vehicle maintenance data is collected at one centralized source! Your data is safe. All collected data is safely stored on non-volatile, solid-state media and archived until successfully transferred to the AVM server. Depending upon the number of logged devices, the system is capable of storing months of unretrieved data onboard the vehicle. In addition, each recorded event can be GPS time and location stamped for precise identification. Automatic transfer. Collected data can be manually retrieved from each vehicle, or when combined with our wireless system the transfer is automatic! As vehicles enter the garage or yard area at the end of the day they automatically communicate with the wireless server and upload any new data collected during their trip. Absolutely no operator or maintenance personnel intervention is required. Better yet, when combined with our Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system, your critical data can be transferred in real-time! View your fleet's health in a glance. One
window displays your entire fleet of Get notified. Pre-defined critical alarm conditions can be programmed for which immediate notification is desired. As soon as a vehicle reports such a condition, the AVM application will display a special alert window and automatically email or page select personnel. Notification parties can even be grouped, so that for example an engine event will email one group while a farebox alarm condition will notify another. Generate reports. Digital Recorders, Inc.'s AVM system includes a number of useful built-in, customizable reports. Data can be displayed in both numerical and graph format. In addition, your data can be exported to your existing maintenance software. |
